Description

VBOXSRV is not on the network (Win2008 DataCenter? SP1)

The shared folder \\vboxsrv\e , is not visible on the network, but you can access it by typing it on the address bar.

(from what I remember, I think this behaviour also happens on the Windows Vista)

VirtualBox 3.1 beta contains fix for this problem: http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=24827 Please try it. Do not forget to install 3.1 guest addition.
