World of Warcraft under Virtualbox error -> Fixed in SVN.

Description

I tried run the game World of Warcraft under Virtualbox 2.1.0 using openGL mode (Host: Ubuntu 8.10, Guest: WinXP SP2). The system displays the following error: Failed to find a suitable display device. Exiting program. (See attached file) Best regards, Daniel Frank

Wait for 3.1 and run in d3d mode.

  • resolution set to fixed.

Should be fixed in VBox 3.1.0. Make sure to upgrade the guest additions to 3.1.0 as well!
